Vinchin supports agentless backup for Huawei FusionCompute and you can use the backup to restore the VM or perform V2V migration.
Installation & Configuration
You can get the installation package on the download page and then install it on a virtual machine or physical machine.
After that, upload the license that we send to you in the email.
Add backup storage before creating a backup job.
Host Adding:
You can add the Huawei FusionCompute host with its credentials.
Backup Huawei FusionCompute VM:
After adding the Huawei FusionCompute host, you can create a backup task in 4 steps.
- Select the Huawei FusionCompute VMs you want to backup.
- Choose backup storage.
- Set the backup policy.
- Submit the task.
Restore Huawei FusionCompute VM:
When you need to restore a Huawei FusionCompute VM, just select the restore point in the system and create a restore job in 4 steps.
- Select the restore point from Huawei FusionCompute backup data
- Select the target host
- Select strategies or just skip it
- Submit the job
Except for full VM restore, you can also use it to perform granular restore to quickly extract file from it or instant restore to quickly restart a failed VM.
