Disaster recovery is important for ensuring business continuity. Vinchin's Server CDP is designed to provide critical protection for key workloads. With continuous backup technology, you can restore servers to any point in time.

Installation & Configuration

You can get the installation package on the download page and then install it on a virtual machine or physical machine.
After that, upload the license that we send to you in the email.
Add backup storage before creating a backup job.

Server Adding

Vinchin supports CDP for both physical and virtual machines, you just need to install an agent on the target machine and then use its credentials to add it to the backup system.

Create Server CDP Job:

After deploying the agent on the target server, you can create a CDP job for it:

Select the volumes on the machine for continuous protection
Select the backup storage. Here you can also enable data replication and automatic failover to replicate local data to a standby machine and automatically switch business to the standby machine when the primary server is detected to be down.
Select backup strategies
Submit the job

Recover Server Data:

With the CDP backup data, you can restore the server any point in time.

Select the backup data
Select restore destination and the recovery time point
Select mode
Submit the job
