The CCN Corporate Communication Networks GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany, is an expert in business telephony with over 20 years of experience, taking responsibility for the operation of technical telecommunications infrastructure and offer well-founded and personal advice that the customers can rely on. In 2021, it integrated into CCN Services GmbH (CCN, formerly Netinteract GmbH) to represent the entire value chain for professional telecommunications services - from the network and VoIP infrastructure, network transfer points, operations, to support and partner service.

To better provide complete solutions for telephone, chat, video, fax, call controls and apps for almost every conceivable application scenario, CCN virtualized some service-related applications and development tools on Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager in the data center located in Munich for more flexible IT operations. Failed to get support from a full-functionality backup tool highly compatible with OLVM environments, they used to protect this part of data by manually implementing backups via snapshots. “The VM backup speed was slow, and the recovery process was also cumbersome, which usually took us near an hour to recreate a virtual machine.” Says Florian Sauerteig, Managing Director of the company.
