The People's Bank of China (PBOC) is the central bank of the People's Republic of China responsible for carrying out monetary policy and regulation of financial institutions in mainland China, as determined by Bank Law. Valued at US$3.21 trillion, The People's Bank of China has had the largest financial asset holdings of any central bank in the world since July 2017. Though possessing a high degree of independence by Chinese standards, it remains a department of the State Council.

“We are surprised that Vinchin Backup & Recovery can be installed on a physical server directly. Maybe it doesn’t means too much technically, but we do feel it is much safer if we physically isolate the backup server with our business systems. So that when business applications fails, the backup server is still running without damage and we can recover the failed VMs to other isolated hosts with Vinchin backup server.” Says Chen Yong. Vinchin Backup & Recovery is an ISO file installer which can be installed on either physical server or virtual server. It is much safer and independent-managed comparing with other backup software which needs to be installed on OS system.

Vinchin Backup & Recovery provides a user-friendly Web Console which allows system administrator to pre-configure backup and recovery jobs with different strategies, like setup job running schedule so that to let the jobs keep running automatically as scheduled and realize unattended operation. When any exception happens to the backup/restore job, the administrator can receive an email notification sent by the Vinchin Backup & Recovery.

“The best thing we noticed about Vinchin was how easy it was to install and use, unlike the other traditional backup solution, which required agents to be installed on each VM to be backed up,” Chen Yong said. “Can’t imagine how long it will take us to get the configuration done, because we have like 200 VMs out there!”
