Business Challenge

Nanjiang is a county of Sichuan Province. It covers 3,388 square kilometers and has a total population of 70.9 million. It has a history of over 1480 years.

Nanjiang County People’s Government Supervision Dept. has established a Sangfor HCI virtualization infrastructure to replace their legacy IT infrastructure and started to operate since April 2017. The Sangfor HCI infrastructure includes over 80 VMs which runs OA system, web servers and core databases. All the VM data size is no less than 100 TB.

“We didn’t expect for a so smart backup solution for Sangfor HCI, but indeed we were facing a problem that our existing backup mode is out of fashion and waste us a lot of time, until we received the bidding document from Vinchin.
