Innovation Journey: Vinchin Visits SAP Labs China in Shanghai, Advancing Deep Cooperation

Recently, Vinchin and SAP successfully signed a global strategic partnership agreement, officially becoming ecosystem partners and embarking on a new journey of collaboration. In order to drive the implementation of ecosystem cooperation programs, Vinchin’s CEO, Mark Hu, Sales Director Raymon Tu, Chief Architect Peter Xie,  and Director of Ecosystem Cooperation Xi Zhu were invited to visit the SAP Labs China and SAP Co-Innovation Center for in-depth discussions and exchanges.

Established in 2003, the SAP Labs China is the third-largest Labs of SAP globally. It has witnessed, participated in, and driven the innovation and development process in China, gradually transforming from "Made in China" to "Created in China." The SAP Co-Innovation Center serves as an ecosystem innovation platform in China, providing one-stop services including innovation platforms, supporting technologies, market promotion, and exhibition displays. It adheres to a 360-degree comprehensive innovation mechanism that focuses on "customer-centric innovation," "technology-driven innovation," and "disruptive innovation." This mechanism promotes the development and advancement of SAP ecosystem partner products and technologies, providing high-competitiveness ecosystem products to SAP customers in China and globally, thereby helping customers move towards intelligent enterprises.    

During the visit, the Vinchin team toured the Innovation Experience Area of the SAP Labs China and the SAP Co-Innovation Center. SAP Co-Innovation Center Director Chao E and Director of Ecosystem Partners Michael Xia provided explanations to the Vinchin team about the development history of the SAP Labs China, as well as introduced SAP's leading technologies and product solutions. These included S/4HANA Cloud, Resilient Supply Chain, SAP Human Capital Management Solution SuccessFactors, AI-generated automatic creation of product SKUs for e-commerce retail solutions, and SAP City Carbon Integrated Management Solution, which is closely related to sustainable development and the green economy.

During the event, Mark Hu, CEO of Vinchin Technology, and Chao E, Director of SAP Co-Innovation Center, led both teams in engaging in active and in-depth discussions, focusing on the direction and innovative ideas of Vinchin & SAP ecosystem cooperation. Particularly during the discussion on joint solutions for business data protection, the two sides combined their latest technologies and proposed more forward-looking cooperation plans. They will make efforts to promote the implementation of these plans in order to better help users solve data-related security and governance issues.

Vinchin is honored to join the SAP global ecosystem partner family, gaining insights into SAP's leading digital core technologies and management concepts, and sharing SAP's global ecosystem partners core resources. Together with the SAP Labs, Vinchin will explore data protection solutions that cater to future market needs. The visit of Vinchin to the SAP Labs China not only marks a new milestone in the strategic cooperation between Vinchin and SAP but also signifies that both parties will jointly write a new chapter of industry innovation and development.
