How to add RHV virtual infrastructure?

To add RHV virtual infrastructure to Vinchin backup server, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Vinchin backup server web console, go to VM Backup -> Virtual Infrastructure screen, click on Add button.

  2. In Platform dropdown list, select Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)/oVirt.

  3. In IP/Domain field, provide the IP address of the Red Hat Virtualization Manager (RHVM).

  4. In Username field, please provide the username of the internal administrative user (admin@internal).

  5. In Password field, please provide the password for admin.

  6. In Name field, optionally type a new name for the virtual platform.

  7. Engine Backup is an optional feature, if you wish to activate this function, please provide root user credentials of the RHVM and also setup the engine backup strategies.

  8. Click on OK button to add.

  9. Click on Auth button, in the popup dialog select all hosts and then click on Authorize button to get the hosts licensed for VM backup.
