Vinchin Backup & Recovery 6.7 now Supports Russian virtualization zVirt 3.0
Vinchin has always strived to provide 100% compatibility to main virtualization products on the market that arrest customers’ attention with stable and superior performance. As we aim to expand to the local market, we are here to announce the success of Vinchin Backup & Recovery 6.7 compatibility test with the Orion soft zVirt 3.0, the domestic virtualization solution in Russia.
zVirt is a Russian server virtualization environment management system built on an open-source KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) hypervisor and oVirt system since 2011, developed by corporate software solutions and IT services company Orion soft (formerly Infoland LLC). This solution can be installed as software or VM and manages virtualization servers, virtual machines, clusters, storage, and other objects with a single console. On March 2022, the Orion soft company delivered the upgraded version zVirt 3.0.
As an experienced IT services company with over 100 cases across industries, Orion soft is always looking for the best and most suitable solutions integrating with its zVirt virtualization platform. Vinchin Backup & Recovery attracts its attention with high compatibility, automatic and smart backup, and flexible recovery strategies. Plus, the solution has already made a name in Russia. So, the collaboration between the two is quite natural.
“A test drive of Vinchin Backup & Recovery and zVirt shows the full compatibility. And that gives us more advantages over other backup solutions in Russia. The integration will bring more data protection options for zVirt users and expand our opportunities with the high credibility of zVirt and local channels. Also, compatibility is just the start and we’ll continue to innovate our product to deliver better backup services for our users.”
